Dubia Cockroach Colony

It is important to ensure that your reptiles are receiving high quality foods🥘

For my Bearded Dragons, I feed them live foods such as Dubia Cockroaches, Desert Locusts, Meal worms, Morio Worms and a variety of salads🤤

In this video you can see a colony of Dubia Cockroaches, these are quite popular in the hobby! This is due to availability and a high source of protein whilst low on fat😎

I obtain my Dubia Roaches from a local breeder, why do I not buy from a pet shop?🤔

Usually with breeders, you can buy in bulk for a fraction of the price! I have now established a colony of these roaches within a Exo Terra Terrarium🧠

The Terrarium is decorated in a way which matches natural habitat! How did I do this? I added compost soil to the bottom to allow natural burrowing, YES! Dubia Roaches do burrow!😱

I also added cork bark and natural hides to provide hiding spots as this species like to hide during daylight. They become very active when the lights go out! Check it out for yourself, you will be amazed! Trust me!😊
